What is the account nickname feature used for?
You now have the ability to change the description on your home banking accounts. Do you put money into a club account to save for a vacation? You can change the description from other club to Vacation Account. You can change a loan with a description of used auto & truck to My Jeep loan. The account nickname feature helps to personalize your accounts and make it easier to keep track of where you want your money to go.
Here are the instructions to use account nicknames:
1. Click on the home banking/power line login link.
2. Enter your User ID and Password.
3. Click on the Preferences link on the left side of the page.
4. Click on Account Nicknames box at the top of the page.
5. Enter the nickname you would like at the box next to current description.
6. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
If at any time you would like to change your description back, simply click on the Default button and then Submit.
