Please be advised that there is currently a computer scam that is trying to obtain your VISA check card and/or credit card number.  Here is how the scam works. This is a scam/Infection and Seaboard FCU would NEVER ask for your card information.

Zeus is an advanced piece of malicious software. If installed on a PC, it can send spam, steal financial or other data or conduct a distributed denial-of-service attack against other computers. Machines infected with Zeus are essentially a botnet.  (botnet = Networks of compromised computers (robots) used to perpetrate eFraud and eCrime)

Those who have developed Zeus have also tailored it to be easy-to-use for less technical criminals, according to security vendor Symantec.

 Remember: Never give your credit card number, or any account details over the Internet unless you have initiated the call and know that the business that you are dealing with is reputable.

• DO NOT...Volunteer any personal information when you use your credit card.
• DO NOT...Give your Social Security number, credit card number, or any account details over the phone unless you have initiated the call and know that the business that you are dealing with is reputable.
• DO NOT...Leave receipts at ATMs, retail stores or service stations.
• DO NOT...Leave envelopes containing your credit card payments or checks in your home mailbox for postal carrier pickup.
• DO NOT...Record your Social Security number or passwords on paper and store them in your wallet or purse.
• DO...Memorize your numbers and/or passwords, instead.
