LENDING & BRANCH OPERATIONS - ELLSWORTH
Seaboard Federal Credit Union has a full-time vacancy for a Loan/Operations Specialist in our Ellsworth branch office. The person assigned to this position will serve as a front-line representative with responsibilities in consumer lending, mortgage lending, branch operations, account opening & account maintenance.
Applicants should have prior credit union or banking experience that includes the above mentioned responsibilities. We are seeking a candidate whose skills include: flexibility and adeptness at multitasking, great attention to detail, willingness and ability to learn, excellent communication and computer skills.
Of primary importance will be providing service to credit union members with opening/closing all types of personal and business accounts, account maintenance, discussing and processing consumer loan products, discussing and processing mortgage lending products, and cross selling products and services as appropriate. Additionally, this position is designed to oversee the daily operations of the branch. This includes offering support to co-workers, providing staff training, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining vault services, end of day branch reconciliation, and operating a teller drawer as needed. An average day will involve a mix of servicing members and assisting credit union staff, both in person and via various electronic avenues (email, phone, secure messaging, text, Zoom).
This position will regularly be scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. On occasion this position may provide coverage in our Bucksport and/or Hermon branches, including possible Saturday mornings in Hermon.
