Read About Our Response to the Coronavirus

March 13, 2020

To the Members of the Seaboard Federal Credit Union:

Like so many others, Seaboard Federal Credit Union is taking the Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak very seriously. The plan we have for such situations is being monitored and updated based on information from public health sources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local and state health departments. We’ve been disinfecting our physical spaces and encouraging our staff to practice safe and healthy hygiene for their own sake and the health and well-being of our members.

ACCESSING YOUR FUNDS

Please remember that the credit union offers a variety of services to access your money without leaving your home or office. If you need additional information on any of these services, don’t hesitate to call us at 800 639-2206 or visit www.seaboardfcu.com. We’d be happy to explain them and get you set up using them quickly so that you have additional ways to access your funds.

  • Internet Banking
  • Mobile Banking
  • Bill Pay
  • Visa Debit Cards
  • Visa Credit Cards

As your financial partner, we are here to help you maintain your financial well-being so that you can concentrate on keeping yourself and your family healthy.

AVOID SCAMS

We encourage you to be vigilant against scams. Beware of emails with links to maps of outbreaks, offers of vaccines or treatments, or donation requests for victims or assist in medical research. Callers may try similar tactics.

IF YOU VISIT OUR BRANCHES

Our goal is to maintain all access to your funds, so please help us maintain a high level of vigilance at our offices by following the CDC’s recommendations to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Maintain appropriate social distancing of 3-6 feet.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue immediately in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

While we will have a supply of hand sanitizer in our offices, please note that our staff may refrain from shaking hands during this time. Please know this is only part of our efforts to maintain good health and not meant to be disrespectful in any way. Thank you for helping keep our environments safe and healthy.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

If you have any questions or concerns about your financial situation, call us. Our staff is experienced and can help determine what options are best for you. The credit union credo is “People Helping People” and we are ready to do our part for our members.
